Christmas Visitors

Mikey's cousins, Ashleigh and Sydney, came all the way from Michigan to spend Christmas with us. Mikey had LOTS of play time with his cousins!

Present Time!

Mikey had a great time learning to open his presents. He did get mad at mommy though...every time he opened something, I took it away so he could move on to the next one and he just wanted to play with what was in front of him!

Cake in the hair

It wouldn't have been any fun if Mikey hadn't smeared cake and ice cream in his hair! I guess he just wanted to play with his new bath toys...lol

Little Thief!

Cousin Vincent brought some of his own toys to play with and in usual Mikey fashion, they were stolen within a few minutes of arrival. He did look pretty cute though with all those Sesame Street characters!

Birthday Boy!

OK, so it's been a few weeks since Mikey's b-day...bad mommy. However, I am posting as many pics as possible...as promised!!

Happy Birthday to my sweet little TWO YEAR OLD!!! We had a great day, full of family and lots of food and PRESENTS for my honey.

Well, he WAS cooring in the coloring book. Then he went to the floor...He's getting his own little table for his birthday just for this purpose!!!

Mommy, however, managed to color her picture of Garfield...staying in the lines...lol

For some toddler reason, when the boys get together to play, they MUST have the others sippy cup. It doesn't matter what's in it, just that it's different from what is in their own!!!

This is from the day Mikey and Vinny were jumping in the crib. I told Mikey to hug Vincent, so he tackled him to the arm of the couch to give him the hug!

I thought Mikey's costume was cute until I saw Vincent.....a little boy in tights and a duck head gets me every time!!!

No seriously...

Anyway, a fun little story; Since we were dressing up our sweet boy as A lion, I thought it would be cute to teach him how to "roar". So for a couple of days before Halloween I was roaring at him, trying to get him to copy me (hey, he does it when I don't want him to...lol) Well, he would not produce a roar....that is until a few days AFTER halloween. NOW he roars at me and daddy to "scare" us...it's pretty cute too. We act scared and he laughs his cute little butt off. By the way, Michael blames me for all the silly/crazy things our child is doing...:)

Well, my kids pretty darn heavy, and he's shy like most little guys, so he didn't want to walk with so many people around. Needless to say, we carried him up and down 2 streets before retreating back to Mike's parents house (thanks Poppy for doing the bulk of the carrying!!!) .

Upon our return, Mikey begins to realize just what's in the bucket he's been carrying around.

I think he pulled out 4 or 5 different handfuls of candy, saying "pease, pease"..I gave him ONE Reese cup. He was not too happy with Mommy the rest of the night...lol

Not sure Bailey liked the thought of having a "cat" in the house!

Soooooooo, we took Mikey out on Beggers night in Lovejoy, because they trick-or-treat the night before and have a parade on Halloween. The first night it was a HUGE fight to put on the costume. Halloween night, we took him out for about a half hour in our neighborhood. Well, let me tell you, I couldn't get him dressed up quick enough! He wanted his bucket and he wanted to fill it!!!

Well, I got my homework done early for a change...it's well before midnight and since I get hollered at almost daily that I haven't put up more pics, I'm going to post as many as I can!!!

In all fairness, I can't blame those who pester me for wanting to see my cute kid...he's adorable!!!

I made a big deal about him carrying his own "bucket", so that was his word for the night instead of "trick-or-treat". It got pretty heavy too and he didn't drop it! He realized pretty quickly what those nice people were putting into it!!! Not to worry, I'm being a good Mommy and eating most of it! lol...he gets one goody a day.
